In 2014, Songfa started mass production of SnO rivets and wires which used for auto relays and latching relays, which are widely used in large-capacity AC and DC contactors, AC-DC power relays, automotive electronics, latching relays and small capacity voltage circuit breakers and many other products.

AgSnO2 material is nontoxic, has excellent performance of welding resistance and arc erosion resistance. In general, in the condition of larger current, AgSnO2 has better arc resistance to erosion than Silver alloy. When under capacitive loads, AgSnO2 shows better current shock resistance than Silver alloy, AgNi. Under AC resistance load, contact resistance of AgSnO2 is slightly higher than Silver alloy, but under the DC lamp or motor load, AgSnO2 shows low and stable contact resistance. In the DC condition, compared with Silver alloy, AgSnO2 has less material transfer.
